This is the most sought after destination by the children. It accommodates a good number of members from wildlife and lies in the vicinity of Kanjia Lake. The zoo is opened from April to September between 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. You may enjoy the rides in the toy train. The garden and park remains closed on every Monday. Later from October to March, the timing is scheduled from 8:00 am to 5:00 am.

2. Nicco Park

It is a good amusement park where children can have some fun-filled rides and have an excellent time. There is an artificial lake running in the middle of the park. Enjoy various games, roller-coaster rides, swings, sea-saw and many more. If you have to visit this place then go any time between 9:00am to 6:30pm. The kids as well as parents can enjoy the rides. You may find this place as a good picnic spot.

3. Bhawani Mall

Shahid Nagar, Bhawani Mall is one of the most attractive hang-out spot for everyone. Every movie buff looks forward to the new releases. Opened between 2:00pm to 5:00pm on all days of the week, this place hosts a lot of education based shows pertaining to astrophysics, space science and astronomy. It aims to generate awareness amongst the people regarding their environment. The shows include audio visual programme, night sky watch, poster shows and display of astronomical instruments. 5. Odisha State Museum

It is open on all days except Mondays. The museum is divided into eleven sections- Archaeology, Epigraphy, Numismatics, Armoury, Mining and Geology, Natural History, Art and Craft, Contemporary Art, Patta Painting, Anthropology and Palmleaf Manuscripts. Have an enriched knowledge about history as you see a fabulous collection of antiquities and specimen for display, preservation and research in museum.

6. Ocean World Water Park

The timings to visit this place is 10:00am to 5:00pm and you have to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- per person. It is a complete amusement spot for the young ones as well as parents.
