After two years as an instructor, she finally inched closer to her dream of flying free and moved back to India.
With her perseverance and family’s support, Madhusmita fought against all odds at a time when aviation industry in India was utterly disorganized. Despite facing problems in processing her documents and finding a suitable job in India, she still did not let her determination waiver.
Lady luck finally shone upon her in 2004 when she got into Air Deccan as a co-pilot and since then there was no looking back for Madhusmita. Thereafter serving in Kingfisher and Go-Air, she has now finally landed on the prestigious position of Senior Commander in Air Arabia. Even after being into a male dominated profession, there is nothing that deters Madhusmita from performing her duty in a bold and fearless manner.
