Venus Inn: The Oldest South Indian Delight In Bhubaneswar!

 An integral part of this group, Hotel Venus Inn located in Bapuji Nagar was started by K. Raghava and is one of the most crowded eating-out destinations in the city.

A two-storey building, the ground floor of the hotel is exclusively meant for vegetarians and the first floor for non-vegetarians. Although over the years, Venus Inn has also included North Indian dishes to offer variety, South Indian cuisine continues to be its speciality.

From idli, masala upma, dahi vada, vada, uttapam to the ever popular dosas, Venus offers a vast menu. One interesting fact is that the hotel serves about 50 types of dosas, the most popular being the Rawa Masala Dosa.

For lunch, they serve a whole course of South Indian meal comprising of rasam, sambar, biri papad, rice pulao, dahi, dal, mixed vegetable and even dalma for an Odia flavour.

The thali (meal) is different for all the days of the week and is served in steel plates layered with banana leaf. Rate of commodities have increased but they have never compromised on quality. That is why they get over 500 customers every day.
