After Barsha’s ‘Nimki’ Inspired By Naveen, Anubhav Comes With ‘Biju Babu’
After Varsha’s ‘Nimki’, which is based on a girl’s journey to Naveen Niwas inspired by his ideology, her husband Anubhav is now ready to make ‘Biju Babu’ on the great leader late Biju Patnaik.
These movies come at a time when Bollywood is also coming up with projects like ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’, ‘Thackeray’ and ‘PM Narendra Modi’ focusing on famous political leaders.
Obviously, these films are being made keeping the upcoming elections in mind and Ollywood too has joined the bandwagon.
In Varsha Priyadarshini’s ‘Nimki’, one can notice the importance of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik because the story is about a village girl who is inspired by his ideology and wants to meet him. The film is directed by Susant Mani, produced by Varsha herself along with Prelude and is scheduled to release on 23rd this month.
Meanwhile, Anubhav, who is also an MP from BJD, announced his upcoming film ‘Biju Babu’ on Tuesday which is going to be based on the legendary leader and former CM of Odisha, late Biju Pattnaik’s life. Anubhav showcased the first poster at a BJD party event at the ‘Christian Padia’ in front of Anand Bhavan.
The film is being produced by renowned producers, Padma Shri Nila Madhab Panda and Prasant Behera and is being directed by Vishal Mourya and Devi Prasad Lenka. The female lead of the film is yet to be finalised. The film is scheduled to release on 1st April.
Prem Ananda is the music director for both the films and audiences are waiting to witness both the films, one on father and one on son. Interestingly, both the films are being made by real life husband and wife.
