A Symphony of Style: Bhubaneswar's 11th Fashion Week
Fashion designers, catering to the evolving tastes of both men and women, took center stage at the 11th edition of Bhubaneswar Runway Week, organized by Addiction Fashion Management at a prestigious star hotel. Directed by John Ajay and overseen by Bhubaneswar Runway Week Advisor Naveen Khandoi, the event featured 11 designers showcasing their unique collections.
Reemly Mohanty's label, Reemely Design Studio, presented "Satika," a collection of traditional handloom sarees ideal for weddings, receptions, mehendi, haldi, and sangeet ceremonies. Barnali Hota served as the showstopper for this collection. Devangini Behera's label *Golden Dreams by DapperDelly* captivated the audience with luxurious kidswear made from fabrics like satin, chiffon, organza, and embroidered nets. Corolina and Aahil were the showstoppers for this collection.
Soumyashree's “Kasis” line showcased stunning party wear, including a crystal veil collection, with Devangini as the showstopper. “Indian Villez”, an artisan community brand created by CA Sandeep and Dr. Zarina, presented “Samskriti – Reconnecting with the Roots,” a collection inspired by the emotions of the state's weavers and rural lifestyle. Ollywood superstar Sidhanta Mohapatra and Mama Mishra walked as showstoppers for this collection.
Sipra Dash’s “Tasa Wings” impressed with cocktail gowns, with Rakesh Kumar and Divya Mohanty as showstoppers. Arpita Mohanty’s label “Surreal” showcased modern gowns in luxurious colors like maroon, black, pastel pink, and green, featuring intricate embroidery. Swapna Priyadarshini was the showstopper for this collection.
Soulbyindian presented traditional red and white sarees in their "Nazara" collection, with actress Dekhangini Deguria as the showstopper. The show opened with Padmini Patnaik, but design was from Soulbyindian's Debasmita Giri. Archana Mohanty’s label “Sanskrit” offered a fusion of traditional and modern fashion in Indian women's wear, featuring embroidered and hand-painted sarees, lehengas, salwar kameez, kurtis, and dupattas. Aanisha Mahakur was the showstopper for this brand.
Saaz by Dr. Zarina Mohanty and CA Sandeep showcased bridal and non-bridal collections, including gowns, under the theme "Shehzadi." Ollywood star Bhoomika Dash was the showstopper for this collection. Finally, Zaheeda Ahmed's brand Zeenat closed the show with an exquisite bridal couture collection featuring silk, velvet, satin, and crepe fabrics, with Bollywood stars Warina Hussain and Gaurav Ralhan as showstoppers.
The event was attended by prominent members of Addiction Fashion Management and other distinguished guests.
