‘Dasama’, A Nostalgic Journey To High School

School days are often considered the most memorable and nostalgic time of our lives. The memories of our school days remain with us forever, and we often find ourselves reminiscing about those carefree days, the friendships we made, and the experiences that shaped us into who we are today. Taking this as a subject the upcoming Odia film ‘Dasama’ is all set to go to the shooting floor.

Under the banners D Films Cine Productions and Keeves Entertainment the film is being directed by the one of the trending directors of the O-town Raja D. Starring Sailendra Samantaray and Nilakhi Patra in lead roles the film also has other young actors like Arman, Jyoti, Bunty, Meera, Ripan, Simran, Akash, Funny Pratik, Happy, Linkan Patnaik, Priti Ranjan and Sushant Dasmohapatra.

The nostalgia for school days is a universal feeling that transcends borders, cultures, and age groups. Whether you are a teenager or an adult, the memories of your school days evoke a range of emotions that are hard to replicate. From the excitement of making new friends to the thrill of participating in extracurricular activities, school days are filled with moments that stay etched in our memories forever.

Adding more about the film, producer Deepak Kumar Jena said, “In the poster you may see a tag line under the title, i.e. Section B-07, which is there to mention that this batch of class 10 is in the year 2007. So it’s going to be a tremendous nostalgic journey for most of us. There is no hero or heroine in this film. All the characters together will carry forward the content which is the king. We are very excited to make this film. The shoot will start in the coming month.”

With 9 songs the film has 7 music composers like Gaurab Anand, Sandeep Panda, Preet Priyo, Subhrajit, Subrat Behera, Anurag Patnaik and Rahul Roul. Along with Gaurab, singers like Anurag Das, Abhishek and Arpita Choudhury have lent their voices for the songs of the film.

The friendships we make during our school days are often the strongest and most enduring. The bond we share with our schoolmates is based on shared experiences, shared struggles, and shared joys. Even as we move on to different paths in life, the memories of our school friends remain a cherished part of our lives.

We, at My City Links, wish the team of ‘Dasama’ all the best, we hope it will get huge love and appreciation from the Odia audience.
