Jhillik Bhattacharjee Ties Knot With Sukinda MLA Danny

The marriage of stardom and politics is not a new trend in Odisha. A number of politicians in the past have tied the knot with Ollywood stars. From action hero Arindam Roy marrying Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das’ sister Anupa Das to the wedding of Ollywood actor Ardhendu Sundar Sahu and Pallavi Maharathy, daughter of Pipili legislator Pradeep Maharathy, Odia film industry has been a favourite destination for choosing brides or grooms for leaders of the state. The recent Ollywood star to join this bandwagon is Bengali beauty Jhilik Bhattacharjee.

The actress tied the knot with Sukinda MLA Pritiranjan Ghadei aka Danny on March 11. Sources said the wedding was a private affair and took place in Swosti, Chilika in presence of family members and a few friends.

Jhilik broke the news on Thursday by sharing a couple of her marriage pictures with Danny on social media. “We seek everyone’s blessings and prayers for our newly married life. Jai Jagannath!” she said in her post.
