Naveen Inaugurates DN Wisdom Tree Global School- The Only School With A Finishing Programme In India
Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday inaugurated the DN Wisdom Tree Global School at Sunderpur in Chandaka near Bhubaneswar today. The school focuses on Wisdom Finishing School Programme (WFSP) which is a one-of-a-kind programme aiming at upgrading communication skills, enhancement of personality and character building through its unique model of education. The chief minister interacted with the students and encouraged them to explore their talent to succeed in life.
It is the only school in the country to run a finishing school programme within the perimeter of the regular academic programme. The school lays great emphasis on games and sports with sports being an integral part of the daily routine for children of all grades. Currently, the school operates a specialised and premier daycare as well as Kindergarten to Grade 6.
The school is afoot to commence senior grades at the earliest. Set up by Dasarathi Naik Foundation for Excellence, the school is headed by Jagadish Prasad Naik, Chairman, who said that this institution is dedicated to the memory of his father, renowned teacher Dasarathi Naik. He hoped that this school would facilitate access to global standards of education for children in Odisha and subsequently emerge as one of the leading day boarding-cum-residential schools in the country.
Secretary to Chief Minister (5T) VK Pandian, chairman of the school Jagdish Prasad Nayak, vice-chairperson, Panchami Manoo Ukil, principal, teachers and students were also present.
