New entry gate at Cuttack railway station to open for public on December 7

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will inaugurate the newly constructed east-side building of Cuttack Railway Station during his visit to Odisha on December 7.

The new east-side facility, accessible from National Highway-16, is designed to enhance passenger convenience with improved circulation, upgraded public amenities, and a seamless travel experience.

Railways stated that this development marks a significant step toward modernizing railway infrastructure in Odisha, aligning with the vision of creating a world-class rail network.

The minister will conclude his visit and return to New Delhi on December 8. This initiative underscores the government's focus on strengthening infrastructure and improving travel ease, particularly in the eastern region.
