It also promotes a smoother and more supple complexion. The best time to apply moisturiser is right after a shower when the skin is still damp. This helps lock in the moisture. Dermatologist Dr. Mamata Sahoo said, “People, especially those with sensitive skin, should choose fragrance-free products. Fragrances that are often present in cleansers, have the potential to irritate the skin, particularly when it is more prone to sensitivity in colder conditions.” She added, “Consider cleansing your face with lukewarm water instead of hot water as hot water can exacerbate dryness by stripping the skin of its natural oils. After cleansing, the face should be pat dry. Harsh rubbing can lead to skin irritation.”
5. Use a Humidifier:
Face humidifiers, also known as facial steamers or misting devices, have gained popularity for their ability to deliver a burst of moisture directly to the skin. These portable devices emit a fine mist of water or a hydrating solution, creating a microenvironment around the face.
