Odia Bodybuilder Janmejaya Mohanty Set For Mr World
Renowned Bodybuilder from Bhubaneswar, Janmejaya Mohanty won silver in the 70 kg category at the 56th Mr India Bodybuilding Competition held at Kadambur English Medium School at Kannur, Kerala on Feb 22 and 23.
Mohanty was among 25 contestants in the national level competition. The ace bodybuilder expressed his happiness via a Facebook post wherein he mentioned how grateful he was to have the blessings of goddess Kali and the support of his family, friends and the public.
Mohanty had to reduce 12kg of weight in just 15 days for the competition. His next target is the Mr World competition scheduled to be held in Poland in May this year.
Janmejaya Mohanty secured the 5th position in the Mr Asia competition, 7th in Mr Universe, with two silver medals at the Mr India competition and three gold medals at the Mr Eastern India competition. He was also the winner of the Mr Bhubaneswar title 14 times.
Janmejaya is currently working as the Postal Assistant at the Indian Postal department where he won the gold medal 6 times at the Dakashree competition.
