Odia Boy Biswajeet Creates Record With The Largest Popsicle Ganesh

Creativity knows no boundaries and it always enriches the lives of both the artist and the one who gets to experience the art. In a remarkable feat, a young lad from Puri, Biswajeet Nayak created a magnificent idol of Lord Ganesh and registered himself in the race for Asia Book of Records.

Popsicle sticks have become a frame of Biswajeet’s devotion. The statue of Lord Ganesh measures 55 inches and it has been wholly constructed with wooden popsicle sticks and spoons which makes it eco-friendly.

Talking about his creation to My City Links, Biswajeet said, “My first purpose was to make the idol eco-friendly. We use harmful chemical colours on idols during festivals which affects the environment later.”
