Odisha CM Inaugurates Industrial Projects Worth ₹1.15 Lakh Crore in Jajpur
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi marked a historic milestone by inaugurating and laying foundation stones for 24 major industrial projects worth ₹1.15 lakh crore at Kalinganagar, Jajpur. These projects are expected to create over 36,000 employment opportunities across the state.
Addressing a gathering of more than 20,000 people, the CM emphasized the government’s commitment to rapid industrial growth, saying, “We are not just laying stones, we’re building Odisha’s future.” The event comes just four months after the Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, reinforcing the state’s swift transition from investment intent to action.
The projects span key sectors such as steel, solar energy, chemicals, ferro alloys, automotive components, food processing, warehousing, and refractory materials. They are strategically located in Kalinganagar, Danagadi, and Badachana — further strengthening Jajpur’s role as a pivotal industrial hub.

Tata Steel Ltd: ₹47,599 Cr | 5 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant Expansion | 4,625 jobs
JSL Group: ₹470 Cr | Petroleum & Solar Power Venture
Abis Exports India Pvt Ltd: Poultry Feed Plant | 850 jobs

Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd (NINL): ₹61,769 Cr Steel Plant Expansion | 14,000 jobs
Linde India Ltd: ₹425 Cr Air Separation Unit
TYK Ceramics India (Japan): ₹57 Cr for refractory products
Almamet India (Germany): ₹50.6 Cr for specialty chemicals
Neo Industries (USA): ₹72 Cr for chrome plating
Corewire Surface Tech (UK): ₹50.1 Cr for steel roll rebuilding
Lechler India (Germany): ₹1.5 Cr for precision nozzle manufacturing
