Odisha Govt Appoints Ministers, MLAs as District Planning Committee Chairpersons
The Government of Odisha has appointed ministers and MLAs as chairpersons of District Planning Committees (DPCs) across all districts of the state to strengthen local development planning and coordination. As per the official notification, 30 leaders have been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing district-level planning and development activities, aimed at ensuring better coordination between rural and urban priorities.
District Planning Committees play a crucial role in preparing, consolidating, and monitoring development plans at the district level, helping streamline execution of welfare and infrastructure projects.
