Odisha Reacts to 'Salaar' Teaser

After facing huge backlash for the film Adipurush, the teaser of Salaar comes as relief for the fans of Prabhas. Released only yesterday, the teaser has got more than 89 Million views and it is also trending on #1 on YouTube. Salaar, which belongs to the KGF universe, is all set to release the first part, titled 'Ceasefire' this September 28th. Like any other state, Odisha also has a huge fan following of KGF. In this article, we have collected the reaction of a few Odias on the newly released trailer. Let’s find out Odisha's views.

A Prabhas fan and gym trainer by profession, Amit said to My City Links, “As a Prabhas fan, I loved the teaser. After the backlash of Adipurush, Prabhas deserves a film that can bring out his true potential. I am also a fan of both the KGF films, and knowing that Salaar is going to be a part of the KGF universe really excites me. I am hoping to see Yash’s cameo in the next teaser or atleast the trailer.”

“Happy seeing the legend Tinu Anand on screen after a long gap. I loved the way Prashanth Neel is treating his films. I want to mention here the editor of the film Ujwal Kulkarni is doing amazing work. From the scenes one can compare this film with Hollywood films, hats up to the DOP Bhuvan Gowda. I am eagerly waiting for the film to be released.” said an assistant film director Bijay Sahoo.

Gopal Das, a businessman, said, “Bollywood and Tollywood are now creating multiverse films. I feel even the Ollywood industry has such stories which have the potential to appeal to the mass of India and not just the state. Ollywood fans like me are eagerly waiting to witness something like this in the near future.”

Expressing her thoughts, Suhana Alam, an English major student said, “Although I am not a fan of the KGF universe at all, Salaar’s teaser testifies to the fact that the film is well produced. The scenes from the teaser seem to be at par with international action films. Although I’ll not watch the film, I am sure it is going to be a treat for KGF lovers.”

Somnath Badaik, an ardent movie buff said, “The trailers of Sultan and Dangal had a lot of similarities but after watching both films, I found the concepts different. Similarly, the teaser of Salaar and KGF don’t look very different. Maybe further trailers will clear things up, but for now the concept feels the same.”

We are living in an era where realistic films are being more appreciated, but at the same time we all know that mass films of big canvas at theaters have a different charm. The sole purpose of film making is entertainment and films like KGF, Bahubali and RRR have done it very well. Team My City LInks wishes Prabhas and the whole cast and crew, all the very best for Salaar.
