Odisha’s Pratima Panda Wins Mrs Queen Universe Pageant, Aspires To Be In Ollywood

Odisha seems to be fast becoming a home of beauty pageant winners. The latest to join the ‘crowning’ glory is Pratima Panda, the winner of the Mrs Queen Universe pageant, held in Gurugram, Haryana recently.

Pratima is a fashion model and aspires to be an Ollywood actress. She competed with 46 contestants who came from different states of India. Organised by (MIHH) Mrs India Home Maker, the pageant was held from June 16 to 19.

Notably, the person behind the event was Naaz Joshi, holder of the title Ms World Diversity 2018, the first transsexual to have won the crown.

An ecstatic Pratima told the media that she would want to thank Naaz Joshi as well as her husband and children. The beauty queen also harbours plans of opening a modelling school in the near future. Sharing her excitement on winning the crown, she wrote in her Facebook post – “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and Achievement for me. This will be a moment in my life that will always be remembered and I will be cherished this moment forever. Finally, this day has arrived in my life…I got the pageant and I am the holder of the Mrs. Queen Universe crown for 2019. WOW!!! No words can define the moment!!!” She further wrote,””NEVER SAY NEVER and IT IS NEVER LATE TO START ANYTHING!!!! So think positive…think big and always dream and you will achieve it for sure….Thank You ALL!!! Thank You God!!!”
