Offline Booking of Tickets For T20I India vs SA Match Has Started
After 2 years of wait, the first international cricket match is all set to be played at Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium on June 12. The T20I match will be played between India and South Africa. The offline booking of tickets started on Tuesday at the conference hall of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), for which counters have been set up.
Schools, colleges, clubs and other organisations affiliated to OCA can buy the tickets as per allotted quota. In all, 8,000 tickets will be sold in this category. However, offline tickets for the general public will be sold at different counters of the stadium on June 9 and 10. All the online tickets have already been sold out.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday purchased the first offline ticket of the match. OCA President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty and Secretary Sanjay Behera handed over the ticket to the CM at Naveen Niwas.
9 counters to be set up for offline ticket booking for the India-South Africa T20I match at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, for the first time, there will be two separate counters for women, informs Odisha Cricket Association (OCA). The five-match T20I series will get underway at Delhi on June 9, followed by the match at Barabati Stadium. The third, fourth and fifth games will be played at Visakhapatnam, Rajkot and Bengaluru respectively.
