Odisha-born Sushant Dash Takes Over as the CEO of TATA Starbucks

In a proud moment for Odisha, Sushant Dash has been appointed as the fourth CEO of TATA Starbucks. As per reports, he is expected to commence his services from May 2021. He is currently serving as the President of Tata Global Beverages in Bengaluru.

A 1994 alumni of Ravenshaw University Cuttack – joined as an Associate Research Director in
ORG, Marg in 1996. Later he joined Tata Tea Limited in 2001 and rose to become a Senior Manager in Tata Tea Premium.

Dash has been instrumental in introducing Starbucks brand in India and had been its President back in 2014. He was part of the core team that opened the first Tata Starbucks store in the country and was directly responsible for the strategy and marketing of the Starbucks brand, the
company said in a statement.

Starbucks has been flourishing in India rapidly. Since its commencement in India on October,
2012, it nowt has more than 215 stores in 17 cities in India.

With his strong marketing, operational and leadership experience to spearhead the next phase
of growth, Dash is expected to enhance customer experience and growth of the business.
