Sudarsan Pattnaik Creates 2,500 Diya Sand Art for PM Modi’s 76th Birthday
International sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a large sand art installation at Puri beach to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday.
The nearly 25-foot-long artwork features a portrait of PM Modi against a Tricolour backdrop, along with the message “Aashirwad Ka Diya” and birthday greetings. Around 2,500 diyas were incorporated into the colourful installation.
Pattnaik said the artwork was created as a tribute to the Prime Minister and expressed his wishes for Lord Jagannath’s blessings upon him.
Two students from the Sudarsan Sand Art Institute, Monalisa Maharana and Sonali Aluk, also extended birthday greetings to PM Modi through a sand animation. The sand artwork and animation were presented at Puri beach as birthday tributes, drawing attention to the visual celebration.
