1. Where are you from? What do you do now?

I was born in a small town called Pembury, I grew up in Chatham and I now live in the coastal town of Whitstable. I work for a security company, in their head office. However I am currently on maternity leave.

2. How did you come to be the face for the Sun baby?

My mum took me to be weighed at the hospital where the producers of the show had been asking for names of smiley babies that turned up that day. I then had to do a small audition before being selected.

3. Growing up in your country, were you aware of the massive impact Teletubbies had internationally, especially in countries like India?

I knew Teletubbies was worldwide, but I had no idea how many people actually watched the show. Even after years of announcing it, I am still amazed at the amount of people who reach out saying they watched the show and how the Sun made them smile.

4. Growing up, were you a fan of the Teletubbies yourself?

I did not watch the show myself growing up, I also did not recognise myself as the Sun.

5.Can you share any hobbies or interests you have outside of acting that fans might be surprised to learn about?

Before becoming a mother I enjoyed dancing, knitting and meeting friends for a drink. Now Poppy is in my life, I have less free time however I do always find time to read a couple of chapters of a book and meet up with friends for a hot drink and a walk along the beach.

6. Many fans are curious about the whereabouts of the other Teletubbies. Do you happen to know what they've been up to since the show ended?

I have not been in contact with any of the other actors from the show.

7. Did you continue your acting career with other shows or films?

I did not continue a career in acting, I was a shy child so my parents decided it wouldn’t be fair.

8. Now that you’re a mom to baby Poppy (Congratulations!), will you introduce her to Teletubbies?

I do have videos in my memory box that Poppy will be watching, she will also be introduced to all my gifted items like character teddies.

9. Have you had the chance to visit India or interact with Indian fans of the show before? If not, is it something you'd be interested in doing in the future?

I have never visited India or had the chance to interact with Indian fans. I would love to have the experience.

10. As someone who played such an integral part in the show's success, how do you reflect on its legacy now, especially knowing it continues to be cherished by new generations of children?

I’m glad the producers have revamped the show to keep up to date with the times and introduce new topics and storylines. It really helps to keep the show relevant and modern.
