To Celebrate The Mother-Daughter Relationship, A Beauty Pageant ‘Maatritava’ Was Held In Bhubaneswar
In a fashionable and glittering Saturday evening, around 15 pairs of mother and daughter walked the ramp, adorned in glamorous outfits specially designed for the ‘Maatritava’ beauty pageant. The event kick-started with a fashion show and hosted a variety of cultural performances in between to enthrall the audiences. Not just that, the gorgeous Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu also graced the event.
In the first round, participants introduced themselves, second round was all about showcasing their chemistry and the third one had a question-answer round.
While interacting with media personnels, Bipasha said that soon she is going to sign a big project. Talking about the event, Bipasa Basu remarked, “It was really good to see the beautiful relationship shared by all these mothers and their daughters.”
Besides Bipasha, other celebrities who mesmerised the event with their presence were Bollywood actress Sushma Seth and her daughter Divya Seth, transgender rights activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi and Gauri Sawant, Odia actor Akash Nayak among others.
Appreciating the unique concept of celebrating the relationship between a mother and daughter through a beauty pageant, Laxmi Narayan Tripathi said, “It was an amazing event and I am glad to be associated with it as one of the juries.”
Overwhelmed with the response Sweta Parekh said, “Being a mother, I always feel that we need to preserve and celebrate this beautiful relationship.”
Mother and daughter Prativa Pradhan and Maitri Monali were announced as the winners of this event, whereas Poonam Pathak and Janvi Pathak were declared 1st runner up. Entrepreneurs who are are doing good in the world of fashion designing, interior designing, jewellery designing, photography and others were also felicitated with the exceptional Maatritava Awards.
