Zee Sarthak’s ‘Hey Prabhu’ Starring Subhasis and Lipsa Will Air Tonight
Good news for Odia serial fans as two popular actors like Subhasis Sharma aka Mantu and Lipsa Mishra from the O-town have been paired for the very first time for Zee Sarthak’s new daily soap ‘Hey Prabhu’. The serial is going to be aired from tonight every Monday to Friday at 9 pm.
The serial also has well-known actors like Rabi Mishra, Sweta Acharya, Prativa Das, Aditi, Priyanka, Swaraj, Bapi and Rajesh playing other major characters. Directed by Biswa Ranjan Mohanty the dialogues of the story have been written by Alok Ray.

Mantu, who has acted in several hit serials like Tulasi, Apa, Awaviman, Aaina and Durga is happy with this new avatar. Talking about his new role he said, “People have always seen me in my serials playing the character of a rich guy who is also a responsible family member. This time also I am responsible but not playing a rich guy. Instead, I am playing a cook in this serial. And I will be seen working at Janaki Nath’s home and also be solving their various problems in my own way, especially the problems of his dearest granddaughter Kuhu.”
“When most of the serials right now are being made on family drama, mythology, ghost stories, black magic or Icchadhari Nagin stories, we are serving a very new subject. So I hope our audience will enjoy watching this,” added the actor.

After winning an acting reality show, Lipsa made her debut on the small screen with the serial ‘Kichi Luha Pee Jae Otha’. Then she also proved herself in a number of Odia films. The actress was last seen playing the lead role in the serial ‘To Aganara Tulasi Mun’. Playing the female protagonist in the story, she said, “We have always seen daily soaps with women-centric stories and most of the time the female protagonist is seen crying a lot. But this time it’s not happening in this serial as the title itself suggests it’s the hero of the story. I am not going to cry this time at all; rather I am going to make other family members cry in this story,” she chuckles.
“This is like a turning point in my career as this is the first time I am working for a very unique project. I have got enough freedom to do this experimental subject so I am very happy about that,” said director Mohanty, who has directed mega serials like ‘Anjali’, ‘Kalijai’, ‘Rani’, ‘Nei Jaa Re Megha Mate’ before.
